About Rising Sun Education & Welfare Society
Rising Sun Education & Welfare Society is one of Pakistan’s pioneering organizations dedicated to the education, rehabilitation, and empowerment of persons with special needs. Established in 1984 by Dr. Abdul Tawwab Khan and Mrs. Perveen Tawwab, the organization began as a small volunteer initiative from the dining room of their home.
Over the past four decades, Rising Sun has grown into a well-recognized institution providing a comprehensive range of academic, therapeutic, vocational, and community-based services for children and adults with special needs and their families.
